Know what is measured—and what is estimated.
App Store intelligence is not one opaque score. AppSea combines keyword and category rankings, rating velocity, price and in-app purchase tiers, release history, and other public App Store signals.
We label what is estimated with an est. badge and publish the methodology behind our calculations, so you can understand the evidence and judge the error bars.
From the builders

The AppSea team, Vavava Tech
Building in public. The methodology doc ships with the beta, and waitlist members read it first.

[ FAQ ]
Frequently asked questions
What is AppSea?
AppSea is an iOS app-intelligence platform for developers and teams. It tracks keyword rankings, researches any app, surfaces organic-growth signals, and makes the same live App Store intelligence available through a REST API and MCP server. One flat price, no caps.
How much will it cost?
Flat $19/month with unlimited keywords, app research, API and MCP included. A free tier (one app, weekly refresh) is planned. No per-keyword caps, no add-on modules, no sales calls. Founding members from the waitlist keep the launch price for life.
Where do the download and revenue estimates come from?
They are estimates, and we label them that way everywhere. We model them from public App Store signals: category and keyword rankings, rating velocity, price and in-app purchase tiers, and release history, calibrated against apps whose real numbers we know. The methodology is published, so you can judge the error bars yourself. Use them to compare apps and size a niche, not to file taxes.
Does it support Android?
iOS first. Google Play support is on the roadmap after launch, and telling us you need Android when you join the waitlist is the best way to move it up.
How does the Claude / Cursor integration work?
AppSea includes an MCP server on top of its REST API. Connect it once in Claude, Codex, Cursor or any MCP client, then ask in plain English: "which keywords should this app target next month?" The assistant calls AppSea for today's rankings, keyword scores and competitor data, and answers from live App Store intelligence rather than its training data.
When does it launch?
Private beta opens in autumn 2026, capped at 300 founding seats. Waitlist members get access first.
